&#8220;Communication objectives&#8221; and &#8220;Grammar objectives&#8221; sections, objectives are proposed each week for each level.<\/p>\n<p>The teacher will make work choices with the group based on the individual and collective prior knowledge of the group participants over the week.<\/p>\n<p>For the &#8220;Vocabulary theme&#8221; section, a theme is suggested as a lexical thread for the learning week. The theme serves as a contextual link between the communication objectives and the grammar objectives.<\/p>\n<p>The 4 skills are worked on throughout the week (listening, speaking, reading and writing).<\/p>\n<p>The intercultural dimension is integrated into the learning week and is closely linked to the week&#8217;s vocabulary theme.<\/p>\n<p>Teachers are free to prepare and propose the teaching resources they wish, tailor-made material adapted to the needs of the trainee\/student, in the form of photocopied files distributed or in computerised form (no specific manual).<\/p>\n<p>Throughout the week, the teachers assess the students&#8217; skills and ensure that the objectives for the week in the syllabus have been achieved by the end of the throughout their French course programme.<\/p>\n<p>Nevertheless, we felt it was necessary to provide <strong>a summative assessment for any student who so wished, at any time during their programme, so that a summative assessment.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We have chosen <a href=\"https:\/\/www.france-education-international.fr\/evalang\">Evalang<\/a>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>100% online<\/li>\n<li>Quick and easy<\/li>\n<li>Multi-support<\/li>\n<li>Based on the CEFR<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Evalang assesses general French skills in the following areas: written comprehension, oral comprehension, grammar and vocabulary. This test can be taken at any time during the French programme.
