About the Bildungsurlaub course at Lyon Bleu International…
Our Lyon Bleu International school is accredited Bildungsurlaub by the German Länder, which offer training leave to German employees.
We offer 2 programmes:
- Bildungsurlaub Intensive General French Course – 30 lessons per week
Intensive General French Course – 26 lessons of 45 minutes + 4 tutoring lessons and cultural activities/week
- Super Intensive Bildungsurlaub general French course – 40 lessons per week
Super Intensive General French Course 40 lessons of 45 minutes per week (2 x 20 lessons morning and afternoon) in two different levels.
Classes run from Monday to Friday. Weekends are free.
At the end of the course, a certificate of attendance and Bildungsurlaub level is issued for presentation to the German authorities and your employer.

Lyon Bleu International has obtained accreditation for the Intensive and Super Intensive programmes. Our teams are on hand to provide you with the documents you need before and after the programme. Don’t hesitate to get in touch.
All levels from A1 upwards are accepted for the Bildungslurlaub French programmes every Monday. Only complete beginners are required to start on specific dates. We will ask you to take an online placement test so that we can get to know you better and assign you to the group best suited to your level.
Our activity programme is open to all students, whatever their chosen course. You can therefore sign up for the activities of your choice and visit Lyon and the surrounding area in your spare time.
Our school is located in a stylish, yet traditional neighborhood, so you can practice your French outside the programme too!
